Triple podium success: IRM wheels triumph in the touring car golden era racing series of the DTM and DRM classes!

This year’s touring car season is over, and we are proud of the success of our wheels in this prestigious racing series!
Three top 5 finishes in the DTM Sprint class and several placings in the DTM Endurance and DRM classes – this is motorsport at the highest level, and our wheels were right in the middle of it!
A very special “congratulations” goes to James Everard, who won the championship in the DTM Sprint class of the touring car golden era racing series in the BMW M3 Gruppe A from VINK Motorsport on our forged aluminum IRM-GRA 12 wheels.
Equally impressive: Roland and Sebastian Asch fought their way to an outstanding 3rd place with the Ford Sierra Cosworth and our three-part IRM-R5 magnesium wheels!
In the DTM Endurance class of the Touring Car Golden Era, the strength of IRM-Racing wheels was once again demonstrated: James Everard also secured the championship title here with the BMW M3 Group A, followed by Michael Schneider (Schneider Racing) , who took third place with the Ford Sierra Cosworth and IRM-R5 alloy wheels. Roland and Basti Asch completed the result in fourth place, also relying on the performance of the IRM-R5 magnesium wheels.

Jens Weimann and Wolfgang Kaupp were also able to successfully use their IRM wheels in the DRM classes of the Golden Era touring cars. Weimann took second place with his Ford Escort MK1 equipped with our lightweight IRM-R1 aluminum wheels, while Wolfgang Kaupp achieved both third and fifth place in the Opel Kadett C Limo on IRM-R5 magnesium wheels.
Our light-alloy wheels have proven their durability and performance under the tough conditions on a wide variety of race tracks and, among other things, at the 1000 km race on the legendary Nürbugring Nordschleife. It is our passion to support the racing teams with the best products and our full support!
