Our seal is made of 0.5mm thick special sealing paper lasered with the highest precision.
The spare part from OPEL or OEM is a sheet metal stamping part. These sheet metal seals do not compensate for unevenness, which is not uncommon in used engines.
Warpage in the sealing surface, scratches, corrosion, etc. The result is a permanent leak which the “TÜV” often criticizes.
Our cleanly manufactured paper seal provides a remedy and offers the solution.
